A Little History About Us

Established in 1965 by Chuck and Ella Hall, Servisoft began as an exchange tank business bringing soft water to residences through out the Geauga County area. At the time a typical automatic water softener was not very efficient, they used a great deal of salt each month and the resins often had a short life creating an

expensive solution to hard, iron laden water. Exchange tanks represented a great way to have soft water without the hassle of loading a salt tank or the cost of maintaining the equipment.

A truck would show up every couple of weeks and replace the softening tanks with new ones. The used tanks would then be taken back to the shop where they were cleaned, sanitized and reloaded with fresh resin ready to be put out in the home again. Servisoft thrived by providing such a convenient service and softened, iron free water to the families in the area.

Eventually technology improved for automatic softeners to the point where they began making more sense economically for homeowners so Servisoft began selling the EcoWater line of

automatic water softeners. EcoWater Systems is the largest manufacturer of residential water softeners; in fact they make one out of every four produced in the entire world. They have always led the industry in product quality, technology and customer support, three very important qualities that Servisoft had to have in order to represent the product line.

The complete line of products enabled the company, now known as EcoWater / Servisoft of Middlefield, Inc., to effectively treat and solve virtually every issue a well water supply might throw at the home owner.
